Vaav

Vaav interprets traditional architecture of step-wells (vaav), replacing steps with origami tessellations and life-giving water with light. The light casts a faint glow on the steps, made in dual tone silk as it emanates from the base of the artwork.

The intensity of folds, along with light lends a meditative appeal to the artwork, drawing in the viewer to appreciate the form and its symbolism.
